I'm Allison, from Atlanta. ny nick, alli2132 is an old name Iv'e used online since the early AOL pay-per-hour days.

I'm 40, soon to be married, career creative-director soon to be Culinary Arts student. I have been gaming since I was a child, and was in my 20s during the PC and console game rush. I am a real life gamer, extremely competitive, chatty and a lot of fun.

Grumbar and I moved to poker like the other 40 million people who are curious after watching large televised events. We read a few books, practiced and learned on the free site, moved to low stakes real money, and have continually improved our games. He actually keep excel spreadsheet documents of each tourney stat (win/loss,place, buy in, prize etc)!

Anyway, glad to have found this site. Looks like some good reading and helpful insight. I look forward to seeing some of y'all at a table soon.

I've read many books and I know if I get Ace and any face card I have 21 and that's blackjack! So I really think there is very little that I need to learn yet!
