Default Hey guys

Hey guys, I'm not new. Just Kaart at work. Viewing post at work is difficult. I first have to use google to get to THF otherwise I need to input a password and an administrator code or something (which I don't have). And when I'm on THF and I want to view a post it goes back to the password page. I then have to copy the link which is forbidden, go back to google, paste the link and click on the site google found and then I can view the page. It takes a little time but it's worth it.

I never did introduce myself and I have time now.

My name is Joy and I'm 28 years old. I've been playing cards since I was 5 or so and I learned poker when I was 8 or 9 from my big brother. He learned me how important it was using to bluff by taking all my money with shitty cards, pennies but still a lot of money when you are young. I always played cards, at home, at school, bars or on the street it didn't matter as long as I was playing cards and playing cards for money.
I was always good, when I was 18 I won over a 1000 dollars just by playing at school winning from fellow classmates and teachers. Good times.

So my dream of becoming a professional cardplayer was always there just didn;t know how to become one. Because I had to find people who wanted to play with me, now I have found them on the internet. Only they beat me more often then I beat them. I work for TNT/Hewlett Packard but HP is going to DHL and I will be unemployed so November 1st I will give my professional carreer a try. I will be playing all day and I don't need to win much, just enough to pay the bills. You know like that guy with the glasses and the black curls from Rounders. Everything I do now online is learning from mistakes. Only 3 more months left.

I'm sorry to hear you will be unemployed in 3 months. I too work for Hewlett Packard, but i work out of Canada. When did you find out about this? Just recently? I know there was a big announcement made on July 19th of 14,500 being let go over the next 18 months. Are you part of that?

I wish you all the best on your goal of becoming a professional poker player. If i ever get the axe/pinkslip at HP. I will seriously think about launching a professional poker career myself. I would certainly have lots to learn.

I heard about this July last year. It was supposed to end here in february then July and now it has moved to november. I hope DHL screws up some more, so I can stay here a little longer. What do you do for HP?
