Because we stud players put a lot more thinking into our games, and are a lot more serious poker players. Respect for the game and the players who know how to play.
Everyone loves hold em, you only get two cards (they think how hard can it be?

lol). It's just too easy for anyone to learn and think they can play well without putting the time in to master a game that can't truely be mastered.
A lot of people new to poker start out at hold em, so you could imagine the attitude they develop when people critisize thier play constantly as they learn. Not to mention they are learning from other new players who act like a hot shot because they watch the WSOP on T.V. lol.
