Default Hey Everyone!

Hi, my name is Steve and I'm 22 years old. When I turned 21 last March (2004), I became interested in gambling, not to the point where I was gambling everything away, but I liked it for it's entertainment value. When I was first of age, I mainly played Craps and blackjack along with a little bit of roulette. It became part of my regular routine, and I actually won consistently, especially at the craps table. I was working for my Dad in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and after work I would go to the Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin. My Dad passed away in April, only 17 days after I turned 21, and for a long time, I didn't do any kind of betting. About 3 months ago I started playing poker for play money, and just a few weeks ago I started playing for real money (currently low stakes). Poker has become my favorite type of "gambling" mainly because I don't see it as a gamble, but more as a game of skill that you can actually learn and get better at. And that's why I'm here. I saw a freeroll sponsored on Poker Stars with this site address, and my original intentions were to sign up, get my password, and start playing. Then I realized that there was a lot of valuable information here, some of it actually improved my game. Now after only a couple days, I'm hooked and I plan on being here for the long run. Good to meet you all and I hope to see everyone around.

-Steve
