This is an example of a "squeeze play." Now, the guy who made the initial all raise in, bully for him. About the only way he could win with that hand. Maybe he had to go home, but also he saw a bunch of limpers and thought he could take it down right there. Applying pressure. he overdid it by going all in. Thats just silly. A bet of half his stack might have worked. He was trying to win almost 1000 chips right there.

AS for the call with 9 high? Cant answer that one. I sure hope he didnt go far in the tourney. Honestly, nothing wrong with your lay down there. Although, you had the chips to sacrifice if you thought he was on a bluff.

No, he didnt' last long, I honestly didn't think he would. I understood the 52 play, but he overdid it, yes. The call.. I was so lost, and utterly confused.
