i like sample's comment about playing at a table full of homeless people...he must have been struggling to find action that first hour lol...

about that beat, that is brutal. he was drawing dead to running cards, and hit them, very tough way to go, but what can you do...

Yeah... that table had to have been the tightest rebuy table ever. Him and I were the big stacks moving into the 2nd hour and then he got a double up from me. He said he knew he was beat but he was just so tired of the tourney because he didn't get a chance to build a stack, but then ate me up

That reraise has to be bigger. Your reraise on the flop should be bigger also and byt the time you moved all-in on the turn he was getting more than 4-1 to call. Sure, he sucked out on you, but its your own fault.

i would have moved all in at the flop.
However, i dont think this was bad play at all. Just unlucky.

Elvis - i disagree it was 'his fault'. Whilst he didnt go all in, he did put in a very large reraise. The guy only had 4 outs to win the hand. Yes he got one of those outs to win the hand but thats poker. You can clearly see the guy was gonna call any all in regardless and probably would have went all in himself if Riha hasnt didnt so himself at the turn.

As i said, i would personally have went all in at the flop however i dont think that rihas large reraise was bad play - some people might believe a large reraise is better than an all in here. Honestly, i dont see how you can fault his play after hitting two pair. He reraised pre flop after the raise and reraised again when the other player put in a raise - you cant fault that. Thats what he should have done and thats what he did do

I put him on AK-AJ, he had been raising a lot of hands, and so I wanted to give him a chance to help his hand out. I wanted to double up on this hand, and I wasn't sure if he would call an all in on the flop.

I understand, i don't really think you played the hand bad, i was just defending his play, because 4-1 on the turn bet is pretty good odds.
