Talking Hand at a live cash game tonight...

Hey everyone. Just thought I'd share this hand with you all from a regular ring game at my local casino I had tonight. I was the big blind with Q7 of spades. Some limp, but no one raises so I see the flop for free. Flop comes: AK10 all spades. So I flop the nut flush and I slow play and it checks around. Next card is another king, so I'm a little weary of full houses, but again there was no betting and we see the river. Then comes the Jack of spades, and I hit my first live Royal Flush. I bet $3 (it's a $2-$10 spread limit game, bet anywhere in that range on all betting rounds). I was just trying to get some money in the $8 pot, lol. Someone raises me $5 more. I figure he has something so I raise the max of $10 and he quickly mucks, lol. Oh well. About a $25 pot for my first live Royal Flush. Luckily the casino finally added some promotions so for my Royal, I received $100 as a bonus. Not bad if I do say so myself.

Incidentally, the button goes around almost one time and another person at the table hits a Royal with KJ of diamonds. He rivered an Ace, and I took like a minute and just looked at him as I hit my ace on the river and I folded trusting my read. I felt good about that too.

All right, that's the end of my story. Good day all!

Good job, I love the B&M stories. Too bad all the casinos near me are so greedy and dont care about the poker players.
