I like that call there. I have always been hesitant to raise with AK (especially offsuited) in limit games since so many people call a preflop raise like its nothing, and sometimes just one raise is nothing.
The only real mistake you made was on the flop. Don't check raise that. I know it was a semi-bluff, but in limit, those never really work. He's not going to put you on a duece. Since you said he was loose aggressive, it makes TOTAL sense that he would raise preflop with ANY pocket pair, whether its aces or dueces. Check the flop, see his bet and then just call it.
On the turn, you hit your king and you have to assume that you have the best hand, or AT LEAST, a split pot. I like leading out with a bet there. With his raise, either a 3-bet or a call would be a decent play. That could really go either way. There were only two possible hands that could beat you, AA or 2x, so probably he doesn't have it, though not definitely. Since you just called the turn raise, the check/call makes sense.

Fonz is right. You shouldn't worry about AA all the time, since it is fairly rare that he will have it. If he does, tough luck, but you can't always put a player on AA.
