Ok so I'm in a $1 MTT and it's very early. Now this guy that all ins in this hand had just done this two hands prior on a flush draw and caught it. He'd been playing very recklessly so I figured he was on the draw again, and of course I was right, and of course he caught it.

I'm really enjoying solitaire myself. It came with my puter for free! And I'm really kicking butt! Sadly can't figure out how to cash out.

Ok here's a good one for you Crap.
Another $1 MTT. Generally wouldnt preflop QJsuited, but opened my style a little because I thihnk ive been playing too tight. Post flop, he checked to me, so I bet into it even though I didnt catch, as I think I should have. Bet hard after I caught my Qs, and he called the draw =(

Anyway, I'm back to playing super tight early in these things.

With blinds that low, I think you should be playing QJ suited everytime. I don't know about re-raising with it though..

That particular player had been playing almost every pot and with less than mediocre hands. he would bet hard with any 4 draw - I even had notes on him for doing this in other tourneys. So i figured him for a victim. Normally, no I wont reraise with cards like those.

I can't fault you on that hand...that was a tough hand...I'm an aggressive player, so I would have probably played it the same way..I also can see Dale being in there also...you both started off with an inside str8 draw and you both have runner runner flush draws...basically you both had garbage with miracle draws. You have to figure Dale for high cards, because he raised and then called your re-raise pre-flop and Dale has to figure you for high cards because you re-raised pre-flop.

Now flop is where both miracle draws come in, but the board shouldn't scare you or Dale...now you bet into him to establish dominance, I don't fault that, except that there is nothing on the board to scare Dale....all he is wondering about is, are your pockets higher than his pockets.

The turn gives you top pair with not a bad kicker...if Dale had AQ of KQ, he probably would have come back at you on the pre-flop or flop...if he was an agressive player....so you come at him...now he's got a double belly buster, flush draw and overcard, maybe 500 would have sat him down...320 is not quite there pot odds...but if your a rookie risk taker you call...I probably would have folded to the 320....and you would really have a hard time justifying a 500 bet.

Now on the river, you did a very smart thing...you checked...saving yourself from a bigger loss of chips.

As I said tough hand...you should have sat out that hand to make youself a drink!

Whoa, this was such a monster suckout I'm still shaking my head and it happened an hour and a half ago... $13+1 18-man SnG to the 500K... the REALLY sad thing is that I was the one who sucked out Let me say before I post the hand, it was only a few hands into the tourny and my kids were being very bad (not going to bed ), I didn't know why I signed up for it in the first place. When the deal came, I saw Q 10 which I have been having alot of luck with (that is the reason I called the huge preflop raise) and figured if I missed the flop I'd fold but even if I lost all my chips on the hand I didn't mind walking away from a tourny which had just began. I missed the flop but my opponent check so I figured hell, all in if he folds he folds if not, oh friggin well. Here you go and have a good laugh
