I've given out worse. I had JJ, another had KK, flop came a king, turn and river were jacks, giving me quads to win a big pot at a limit holdem ring table.

Isn't that like the same thing as the hand shown?

Basically the same, but in Unisin's example, they were all-in preflop, so there was no more betting. In mine, it was a limit ring table, so there was betting each round. I think that makes things worse since the guy with kings had some control on what could happen by his bets, but there was no control by either player when they are all-in preflop.

Also, a set of kings was the nuts on the flop and turn, but in this hand, the set of 7s was never the nuts because of an over card.

OMG, the same thing happened to me kind of. Had the runner dueces.

I am in the final 2 of a MTT, about 3k ahead. I get AQ and raise, the other guy reraises, I go allin, and he calls. He shows A2. Flop comes xQx. Then the turn comes 2. And then the river came and it was another 2. He got runner dueces to beat me. So I end up getting 2nd place and winning $200 instead of being the champion and winning $300. It was a freeroll, so $200 free wasn't bad. But I still wouldn't have minded the extra $100.

My first week starting to play poker at POKERSTARS about one year ago, I was delt pocket 10s and just called a 2bb raise. The flop comes up 10,10,J. The turn and river come up JJ, and the other guy shows AJ. Brother, I didn't know if I would ever want to play again. Thankfully it was a freeroll lol.
