Since I flopped the nuts, I knew that if I raised on the flop, I might lose one or both players. Then I had to turn on the heat on the turn, which luckily, REALLY helped both players. One made his top straight and the other made his full house. I got the capped betting, and then the river actually put a royal flush draw on the board, which might have been the worst beat of my life, but I never even thought of someone having JsTs. Unfortunately I didn't get the capped betting on the river, but it was still a nice pay off for flopping such a great hand. I was stunned when I saw that flop. I just had to really start thinking about how to play it. Lately, I haven't been getting payed off for a great hand. It seems that when I flop something like the nuts flush, top straight, or a set, everyone folds quickly, but I love getting those two callers the whole way to showdown.

Yeah, the same thing usually happens to me. I flop (or even just make) quads, and barely get money at all. I slow play it way to far, usually checking to the river and no one ever bets. Then I have to bet the river and get all folds. Luckily that wasn't the case this time.

Wow, quad Aces didn't get cracked?...nice going kikolo...you do know why that happens to you, don't you?.....because, you don't complain like CRAPSHOOT!

it did make me think of a recent hand that I had...full house, Kings full of Jacks that got cracked by a royal flush!

That sure was a nice hand you won there. Not often that quads get that much action. Nice to know that they do from time to time. Especially when it is Quad Aces.
