Call

Candy is representing 1 pair = jacks
maschio is representing a str8 with the check raise....however, you have the open-ended str8 draw and flush draw.....depending on the tourney buy-in amount, I would most likely call with 15 outs and 2 cards to come!

If someone re-raises or your card doesn't come and multiple people call and reraise, then you must reconsider folding after the turn assuming others are chasing the flush as well? Those decisions would depend on the stage/buy-in of the tourney.

Thats pretty tough. I dont like calling big raises with just a draw (or draws), but those are two very nice draws. You would have 15 outs, so you might throw out a call. You would hit your straight or flush about 54% of the time, so it might be a smart call.

I would raise all in to scare all the other players, therefore reducing the risk of losing

I considered that jvelez, but I do NOT like to go all in on a draw.....under any circumstances....even AK. If you are called, your tourney could be over. There is nothing worse than leaving a tourney on a draw with no hand made at all!

Not to say I won't call the AK, but I don't like playing all-in without a hand. Most of the time someone in the pot will have a hand and if I don't catch a or k it won't be me, LOL. Too many times I've been all in with a draw to lose. It's ok in a cash game, but in a tourney it is death.

I must have a hand to commit to all-in. If faced with a re-raise, I would have to put the raiser on the higher flush draw and just eat my losses. Here in xtra's situation, fighting back with 575 chips is not impossible. Besides someone would be just as likely to call the extra 575 chips as it wouldn't be much more. At least you could leave yourself a little life if no one else calls and your cards do not come.

Fold Your flush draw is not to the nut flush. There will be other opportunities to push that many chips in. Fold it.

I couldnt decide which to do,if it were just 1 draw Id a folded but the 2 just made it to tempting.wasnt expecting to see the hand he turned over either. It was a 10 dollar sit n go..... in a MTT I might have leaned toward folding.

Scarry stuff. You played that exactly the same way I would have. You reading my mind Xtra? LOL Hope you ended up doing ok in the SNG...I think you made the correct play.

I rarely ever chase in cash games, but in that tourney situation with the chip amounts and the number of outs, I think you made the right play. It would not have been impossible to make a comeback while low-stacked if the cards didn't happen fall your way. I'm pretty confident you already know this because I've seen you play!

Just curious, after the hands were shown the other guy typed "wtf". Did you happen to explain why you called or have any subsequent conversations after you knocked him out?
