Take a look at this and tell me how to improve it or just keep doing what i am doing.

251 hands played and saw flop:
- 11 times out of 56 while in small blind (19%)
- 26 times out of 57 while in big blind (45%)
- 20 times out of 138 in other positions (14%)
- a total of 57 times out of 251 (22%)

Pots won at showdown - 11 out of 14 (78%)
Pots won without showdown - 44

kinda curious as to why the number dont jive. i saw a flop 57 times, yet i see 58 hands that i mostly won, cept for 3

You can win a hand without seeing the flop. Either you raise preflop and everyone folds, or you are in the BB and everyone folds, including the SB. As for your stats, they seem very good. You flop percentage is fairly low at 22%. You have an extremely nice number of pots won without showdown. You are winning almost every hand you play, which in absolutely fantastic. The more I think about it, the great those stats are. You saw 57 flops and won 55 hands. Amazing. What I am really working on is my Pots won at showdown percentage. Yours is nice and high. Mine is usually mucn lower than that and very unsatisfactory. What game were you playing? What level, what limit?

These stats were from our League game on sunday night, i remember reading somewhere that you should only play 30% of the hands your dealt, and out of those you need to win 70% to be sucessful, have you ever heard of this.

Well,

Those sure seem like decent stats. Sometimes I drop into the teens percentage wise are far as hands I make total.

Those are the days that test my resolve.

And 78% winning hands to hands played is pretty good in my book. I can be in the 50% and still do ok. But, I would really like to become a good enough player to get to that 70% range.

Last night I played 1/2 penny and came out ahead $0.56 cents ahead for the hour.

If I remember correctly. I think I was abot the 50% range win to lose. Just had a good string of cards.
