about the first hand: IMO there was nothin' you could of done about that. he just caught a lucky card. You went all in with the best hand and got outdrawn. He was ready for a showdown no matter how much money you had on the table. I don't know if i would of went all in with 77 like that.

That first hand if he was gonna fold it wouldve and probably shouldve been pre flop on you raise. Then he hits an open straight and put you on AK maybe?
He had to have you on hi pockets thats all I wouldve thought. He had a tempting hand after the flop, myself I fold those 7s on the reraise pre flop and let you have them.
What did you think he had that first hand?Just curious what you put him on.
And ouch by the way those hurt.Had a few turn that way yesterday my self.Slo played flopped trips into the river of quads...Aces beat by a str8 on river just a few but thats just the way it is sometimes give and take.

Honestly, when he re-raised my 9.50 raise I thought he had trip 8's or aces.......but I was hoping he had queens or jacks but at that point I was not laying my hand down, I was pot committed as they say.....when he only had 7's I jumped out of my chair until I realized he had an OE str8 draw...then I sat down...... but I still thought I was going to win.......guess not. Still ended up being a fairly good day considering the low stakes so all was not lost.
