Default Interesting raise...very tempting to call

What do you guys think? I figured it's still early in the tourny. and sometimes people like to play 22 a lot and A2. so I'm thinking he has trips(which would be the only 2's left in the deck which is unlikely but possible) or also two pair Aces over dueces. So what do you guys think? Would you call this all-in?

he also could have 45 or a pair of clubs. I think if he had an ace, he bets flop, if he had 22, i would try to raise pot a bit so that its a heads up situation.

If he had 22 that would mean there were 5 2s in the deck

The only reason to fold that hand was if you thought he had 45. My guess on this one was that he had an ace or hit two pair at best. He couldn't have put you on trips, because there was no betting until the turn. Yeah, it was only level three, but that was a far too conservative play on your part. Even in the BB if you get a pair or any other solid starting hand, you have to raise to see where you stand. You get no information from calling & checking.

I would have either doubled up or gone broke on this hand.

Looked like a solid play to me. Other than the BB you've only invested 150 in the pot. Plus, when your money did get in the pot and got called, the guy went all-in. Imo he either had a hand and was hoping one of you would call him, or was on a draw and semi-bluffed; I doubt he was straight bluffing.

Either way, since a lot of hands out there have you beat or up against a tough draw, and you've still got one to act after you, I'd probly tip my hat to a nice bet and fold.

In hindsight of course.
