Default Crazy Or Brilliant, It Worked

PokerStars 0.05/0.10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with , .
3 folds, MP1 raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 4 folds, MP1 caps, Hero calls.

I three bet here because I wanted this to be between me and the initial raisor. I instantly put him on AQ or AK. If he has a high PP well then it's one of those things, but most of the raising I see at this level is with AJ AQ or AK If I'm right then I am a slight favorite preflop with my PP

Flop: (9.40 SB) , , (2 players)
MP1 bets, Hero raises, MP1 calls.

No reraise tells me I was right AJ AQ or AK

Turn: (6.70 BB) (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 folds.

Either that or he put me on a high pocket pair.

Final Pot: 7.70 BB

Results: No showdown. Hero wins 7.70 BB.

Ok, was I a maniac or is my logic sound? Be as brutal as you need to be LOL

I will say this Starlight...if your going to play low pocket pairs, then you definetly have to isolate...I think that you played it well. I like to play low pocket pairs and would have probably played it the same way...but it has been a while since I have played limit.

well. I have to disagree with crapshoot, sort of. I mean, yes, in this situation you probably want heads up if you are trying to slow an aggressive player down but most times I want multiple players in a pot when I play low pairs. The reason is this, my 2's are not going to win alot of money heads up unless I hit trips . If I hit trips, I want as many people in the pot as i can.

I look at it this way Franky...I'm not going to hit tripps, so I want one unpaired opponent and the odds are against them pairing.
