Depends on the read but I wouldnt really think to put him on an eight (being that he was the preflop raiser and people usually dont raise 4x BB with 8 anything), could have a bigger pocket pair but I dont think he would raise that much on the flop in that situation so I would call hoping he had a lower Pocket Pair or was just on a bluff...

Thats a pretty fair assessment I think. I would guess probably tens or jacks seeing he didnt reraise after you raised to 800. I dont think he has kings or aces. If my math is right then you have to call 2000 into a 6800 pot which is about 3.5:1 odds. With no flushes out there and only a minor straight, I think you got him beat personally. I would either call or even put him ai to be honest and make him pay severely.

u shoulda reraised preflop to get a better idea of what he might be holding, now u find urself in nomans land postflop, it is now all a guessing game for u from here. I dont like ur smoothe call prflop holding QQ. That hand u should definitely reraise preflop.

Yea That was the criticism I had as well. I would reraise the group 1 hands all the time. but giving the circumstances I still think they have a chance at winning the hand.

I'd put him on a premium hand. It will be hard to fold the hand. His stats look pretty good and he's playing it like someone with a big hand. The worst outcome you have 2200 chips left, best outcome 24,000+ and he is out? I personally play it out with an all-in from there.
