| | | | Minimum raise preflop was the first mistake... aside from that 5 outers aren't uncommon. | |

| | | | Maybe it was a minimum raise here Fink but I have to agree with Ref here. That guy had no reason even being in the hand pre or post flop. Honestly God only knows why he called. Maybe temporary insanity, at least my guess. Seriously how had you been playing up to this point?

| | | | Minimum raise invites him to take a look, but I can't believe he called the all in for his tournament life, cuz the 8 hit, with a crappy kicker, and a king on the board. That was just a jack ass move that the river rewarded, IMO. | |

Absolutely nothing wrong with the preflop call. What does an UTG minimum raise mean in a 3 handed game at the end of an 18 man sng? Means he could have absolutely anything. Quote: |

More often than not, in these games you are not playing against poker players... you are playing against people playing poker. HUGE differance. Had the 20%er not come Ref would have said "cool" and never thought about it again.
Look at it this way... if these people weren't as bad as they are, we probably wouldn't find ourselves as chip leader in the final 3 of 18 man sngs quite as often as we do. Oftentimes it is play just like this guys that gets us to that point, so why complain about it when it backfires?
WHY YOU HATE POKER is also the reason you are able to turn a profit. | |

| | | | Fink once again ur stupid little head gets in the way of making sane comments to people. Stop belittling people and the way they play there cards. I took a look at the hand and pokeref from what i see trapped this player for all the chips, it is called a 5 outer u clueless monkey. Pokerref excellent play! Just very unfortunate, you played your hand extremely well. It is called being a 80/20 favorite about the best odds ur going to get against someone after the flop. Keep playing like that pokerref you will win in the long run man. They cannot rob you everytime, and usually the math works out in the end, keep getting these donkeys in bad and you will bank there money more than often. | |

| | | | I have no problem with someone playing any hand when theres a min raise. Its why I did it. Any larger raise and players woul fold, unless they were also holding something exceptional, then there would be a re-raise or all-in. I wanted action and got it, with both players calling. The flop was a good one for me, and I went all in. But I really don't see why he would call it with 2nd pair. He was not pot committed and still had a fair chip stack to continue with. At that point in the tourny,it's a true donk play, and his Sharkscope stats show his true playing ability.
