I see no reason to call any raise with 53o. I would be pissed. You can make a good arguement if it hits, but in reality you are a donk that called a pre-flop raise with 53o and got lucky. That's not poker that is rolling the dice. Now after the flop he caugt and open end str8 draw, great for him, but with 53o he should have never been in the hand to start with.

Well as you can see opinions very. That's one reason I love this game. There's so many ways to play the game. Everyones rational is different.

I decided to try another one today and justice was served. Those that played crap got booted and I got my ticket.

I forget what show I was watching but they had a quiz and the question went something like:

Which 2 cards would have the best odds against AA?

A: KK
B: AKo
C: 87s
D: 34s

The answer was D. The suggested that your odds are better the more different your cards are than your competition. I'm not sure I buy into that idea but it seems it would apply to this situation.
