if you go all in on the flop it was a bad beat but you go all in preflop and preflop it is only a coinflip and not more sorry

GAMES SCHEDULE

this one is going to be fairly high up the list for a few reasons

on the down side it is only a 10$ game but i am many playing smallish stakes these days in the odd chance i get to play. I hit a situation where I have a stone cold read on my opponent - I know he has a low pair. I sense my edge, I pause - I am kinda of thinking - ok I have fantastic odds BUT it is up against a big stack and the small stacks are playing any trash so i will get safer oppertunities if i wait. There is a tiny chance my read is wrong.....

OK 1) make a clever read so loss more annoying
2) I am in a situation where if i win here I am a shoe in for at least 5th and very likely (being a good tourney finisher) to finish top 3
3) its 80% to win

I recently lost with AQ on QQx when I lost to 109 - no flush on with j, then K - I was doing ok in a tourney and had doubled up - this was against a short stack but there were lots of others who folded on the flop after the other guy went all in for 1200 or so. THis is about a 2% if I did the math right but truthfully i feel that this was less of a bad beat (it was a 20 or 30$ tourney i think) than the first one.
