Yet another now typical hand history for me. I'm not sure how many time I can be a 95% favorite to win on the flop and still manage to come out on the bottom before I finally start to win them...

I had a disconnect just after this hand so sorry about the lack of formal history, but I thought you guys would like to see this piece of lunacy rewarded, just to make you feel better about your own misfortunes.

carbon's "sixth cent" daily donk fest (buy in 5+1 cents). 253 entered, 13 left. 6 on my table, me and other guy in mid division, me utg with AJ and 41k , him in BB with 42k having already placed a 6k blind.

I wanted to bet more, but even in 7th place I was short stacked compared to the blind, I guess I shoulda gone allin, but I let being utg worry me into just raising to 12k. This nearly worked, cos everyone else apart from the 2 chip leaders who were on the other table was in the same fix chip wise, so all folded round to the bb. But not this guy. No he calls. Flop is 874 rainbow. He bets 6k. I figure this as a "hope he folds" bet and go all in, he calls for all of chips bar a bb.

Got his hand figured yet? Give you a clue, I was right about his bet, he had no hand. OK, another clue, the turn was a 5 and one of his cards was a 2.

Yup, he was playing 62 off against a preflop raise. And I was out.

OK, I shoulda gone allin preflop, but his preflop call? For 1/7th of his chips? I guess that explains why he would then do something as dumb as chasing an inside straight.

I'm just amazed anyone like that was still in at that stage. Just to rub salt in the wound he went on to finish 2nd.

It really doesn't say a lot about the players at carbon does it?

I was only playing this tourney to burn up cents prior to cashing out cos they only cash out whole bucks, so this has done little to make me want to stay, just means I'll have to play a couple more of these first to get rid of slightly more odd cents than I started with.

Default Todays bad beat serie

Hi!

This is my first post here. My english is bad, sorry.
This is my day:
I'm a low limit player. This was my hands today:
Had 89, and I'm the BB. The flop is 7TJ. I'm happy, because 4 more limper are in the hand. I make a small raise 2 times the blind. One player call, the others folds. The turn is: Q... Uh, i'm here a littlebit angry now. Make a big raise 6 times the blind. He call. The river: A... Pff... Make another raise, he just call, but had K7... I lose a lot... And i play good i think, he play bad.
Another hand:
I Had 55. The flop: AT5. Make a raise, he go all in, i'm short stack, so i call easy... He had TT...
Another hand:
Had 67, I'm BB. The flop 89T. I raise 5 times the blind, another player reraise 10 times, another go allin, i'm going allin. 4 players go allin with me. Who win? The player who had 8T, and the river is a T. The pot was 28 $. The limit is 5/10 cent... And lose again, and i had the best hand after the flop again.
Today i lose 25$, i'm playing tight-agressive style, playing with 20% of the hands... Had 47$, now its 22$, and i'm not made big mistakes...
So how can win??
Don't know...

I checked the odds, and I had a 98.32% chance of winning after the flop.
i think that is not a badbeat because you go all in preflop and preflop you have a coinflip against AK if you go all in on the flop you can say that was a badbeat but not preflop

Not as bad but I was 96.77% after the turn.
Again not a badbeat preflop you was preflop ahead but not so much that you could say it is a badbeat the chance to win when the money go into the pot was 60:40

you can do nothing but AK vs a low pocketpair is only a coinflip preflop if you go all in on the flop it was a badbeat decisive is when your money go into the pot
