Yeh I know exactly what you're saying Mars
Players do that in rebuys I know. I don't usually play this way myself, my bankroll doesnt like it. I'll rebuy immediately and go from there and wait till the addon period to see how I stand.
The chips at the table factor is ok, only as long as you arent moved to another table. In a $3 rebuy with 315 entrants you may be moved around quite a bit.
I just hastily posted these two hands while playing, for the fun of it. It was nice of this chappie to keep giving me his three-dollars worth of chips
I think he left after losing another buyin.
I'll play rebuy MTTs when I get the chance but this is the first time I've played in a turbo MTT. I learned a thing or two. I had intentions to remain tight from the start but opportunities arose and I got involved and got off to a good start. My intentions then where to wait for good opportunities and to get in with strong hands, or heads-up with the best hand or coin flips at least, before the blinds got too high and before I got too low.
In the event I had really awful cards and/or nothing much in the way of suitable stealing positions and before I knew it the blinds crept up on me. I did manage to get all my remaining chips in with the best hand against one opponent but lost out.
Can't say I liked the turbo blind structure and will probably give those tourneys a miss, for the time being anyway.
