I might as well start off the critique, as there is one HUGE flaw in how I played - Not betting the turn - at least that way I would've had some info on if a higher full house was possible. As it was, I figured with my position and whatnot, AK was a good possibility, or K7/K3 (remember, Omaha, that is a possible combination). It was the second hand at the table, I figured I would rather take the small loss than risk for a big gain.

THF Player of the Year
Ok a quick and unconsidered reply. I'd fold the river certainly.

I havnt had a trip to the calculator but your beat here arent you. It's a fold for me.

You call with good odds in SB and act first with a pot sized bet. OK, I feel that's a bet to clear bodies rather than an information bet. You could of bet this a little lower for info and you could of bet this a little higher if you're looking to narrow the field considerably. I think your play is fair enough though.

Then the turn - we'll you say this is a huge flaw and maybe after your first bet it is but I wouldn't feel easy making a further resonable-to-large bet there.

I'd just play the hand out as you did. Your outs to the nut-high are slim and with an A,7,3 on the board, you know there's a low out there. I don't see how you can call.

That's my thruppence anyway.

Well my thinking is that a $2.50 or $3 would serve well as an information bet, further clearing out players as well. I would then check the river, but I would have a better idea of where I was in the hand.
