it seems lately that anytime i make a good push in an MTT, some moron sucksout and beats me. why the hell does this happen SO much. just now, i lost with QQ, i called a preflop all in, the guyhad A7 , caught an ace. then, my 99 gets busted by 66. Then i go allin with AK, and the guy calls with AT and gets a str8. this always happens to me, i have no clue why. i dont feel like i give them odds to suckout, especially with calling or goin all in with hands that dominate, and then the people hit their 3 outters

It always happens to you because it always happens to everyone. Newbie, fish, donkey, average Joe, Mr small profit, above average Joe and the pros. And the reason that it happens so often is simple. You can talk about odds and averages and everything else all that you like, but odds in poker are small. The vast majority of times that you get your chips all in preflop with the best hand (be it KK vs Ax, AK vs AT or 99 vs 66) it only takes one single card for your opponent to win... and there are 5 cards to come.
Only advice that can be given is try to avoid getting all of your chips in before the flop... once all of your chips are in it doesn't matter if you are Phil Ivey or my 7 year old son, its out of your hands. | | |

Exactly. You lose control once you are all-in. Call all-in if you have to of course. And yes we all know the exceptions, boring detals. | | |

dont worry about it rw...it will pass
last week i dropped a bundle on stars from suckouts... everytime i went in with pp i got drawn out on... if i had overs against small pp...pp held up....every freakin time for a week i never won a coin toss.

Just the way the game is.Consider it like a girlfriend...every once in a while she gets PMS!
Drop down a few levels or switch games and see if you can break the trend.
Play money sits are good for blowing off steam also.

It happens to everyone rw, but what you gotta do is just carry on with your game, maybe what xtra said by dropping a level or two for a while.
You can't let this effect you mentally and you MUST put these hands out of your head as this is what separates a good player from a great player.
