he would lead out with a bet after the flop the normal continuation bet of half if he hits top pair with a weak kicker which he showed twice he also showed a bluff after betting a large amount which was the size of the pot and did so several times after and mucking hands...i guess he didnt realize he was giving his betting patterns away..he called my raise which i knew he had something like a10 or kq basically face cards i lead out to let him tell me if i was beat if he called which he did to trap the goos ole slow play ..he caught someone when he hit trips earlier also...anyways he bets the pot on the turn i know immedialty hes on a draw or noting i went with nothing and called and bet my last monies...i couldnt believe it...think if he cakked my bet on the flop and checked the turn i wouldve been suspicious but he was a straight fwd player he had no strategy what so ever...one

IMO the only thing he does wrong is to min raise your c-bet. He makes a loose call preflop but since you raised over 5xBB he probably thinks you have some sort of hand like 88-JJ and has 2 overcards to play with.

Out of curiosity why did you flat call his overbet on the turn, leaving yourself 600 chips, if you planned to push the river? Surely just coming over the top on the turn would be much better. He'd have called anyway.

i guess i dont like your play here, but its really hard to say because if you had a great read on him, then its a good play. but its hard to put him on absolutely nothing here. even though he min. raised, you said he was raising with a weak ace when he hits and low pairs. To commit all your chips is a tough thing here, since in the scenarios you have described, he at least something, even if its 22. The way he called a ice preflop bet, if he reraised me id have to put him on some kind of hand. even if its AK your beat. any PP your beat, and hell, you said he played a lot of weak aces. well if played a weak ace, that flop helps a lot of weak aces. people love A9 even though it is extremely weak and call a lot with it.

but as i said before, its tough to say because if you had a nice read, then you made the right play. but i think you got a tad lucky because you have to be positive he has absolutey nothing. Your basically putting him on KQ, AJ, AT, or QJ. i know there are other hands that give him nothing, but these can be the only reasonable hands he would play for a preflop raise and that he had not hit.

thanks for the feed back guys...i think my call ticked him off he played all his chips away like 10 hands later...well like i said he tipped ppl off by showing hands..b4 this hand he showed down trip 10s against zab who had ak...the flop came like 2 10 A.. the donk checked and zab bet about half.... he smooth called him and he checked again on the turn which was a 5 if i remember and i type hes strong zab strong when weak weak when strong remember??(zab got caught in his bluffs he showed like 54o with a high board post flop while the the donk was showing strength he check raised zab on that hand)...zab checks behind and it was a 9 the donk bets like 40% of the pot giving zab lil over 3:1 odds...y would zab not call that... he had top pair top kicker .....he calls... zab shows a piar of aces while the donk shows trip 10s...i type *shakes head*...anyways there were several plays that i just knew he bluffed when weak... my gut just told me hes bluffing this time also....so i call..im working on trusting my instincts b4 i make a play because when i know the flop put cards out there that can beat me i will fold but theres been times when my logic took over and i lost...so im trying to intregrate my instinct with logic....when that 9 came yea he couldve had 9A 9A but my instinct was y would he min raise a hand like that? A better play would be to smooth call show that your still in the hand cause the flop helped your hand and we can see what happens on the turn or ill raise the pot to get this guy outta hea cause im too weak and i seen this guy fold raises when he didnt hit the flop..which happened alot this particular game where i folded when ppl betted into me..like i said he had no strategy he was tooo straight fwd with his play..one
