well one good reason to fold is ofcourse is that it is not a made hand and ur an underdog against his pair which is more than likely his holding... unless it a paired king or ace which your about a 3:1 under dog even more which would not be a good...another reason here is well i cant think of anything else

buuut the reasons i see a call is good here is because he pushed all in he has a pair and ranges between 55-1010 and doesnt want any one holding Ax - Jx
to call which those holdings are still 30% chance to win even if the x in under 10...not very smart of him but he just doesnt want confrontation also....AK holding up just a lil better in 7 man table then a 9 or ten...but i can see him holding to high cards like what your holdingmaybe kq or aq..which in these cases your up 3:1..so one average you have about a toss up i conclusion

my move is call..one

Well, in my opinion there is only one thing that would make me fold in this spot and it is if I think this guy is an extremely tight player. If he isn't an extremely tight player then I would have to call in this spot.

Ok...if you fold, you will have 27702 remaining, an M of 4.99. While it is short, it is not the short stack of the table. If there are 20 left, that means a bump in pay is coming up, how much I don't know, but I'll assume it's fairly significant. So there are your reasons for folding.

If you call...Well, as canete said, you are probably at a coinflip on average...For every time you're against AA/KK, you'll be up against Ax/Kx. Then of course are the possibilities of him holding JJ, TT, 99, which are a coinflip. Now, with the payout about to get bumped up (as discussed in reasons for folding), why would you risk your tourney life on a coinflip? The answer is simple - You don't want to limp your way into the money, you want to get the big bucks, which aren't reached until the final table - and really, the top 3-6 players of the final table. While you still have chips to play with, folding here isn't going to be putting you in too good position to make a run for the final table. Assuming you've already made some money on the tourney, I would say call, unless as Bass said, your read on the player says he would only push with AA or KK in this situation.

I would always call in this spot. It's only $3 if you lose. There are many more tourney out there and with your luck and skill I'm sure you make money every week playing poker as I do. If it was a bigger buy in you may as well consider that the guy has ace-ace and fold. It's the luck of the cards dealt, flop turn and river. When you call an all in with ace king the hand is determined by luck. The question is ,as Clint said, do you feel lucky, well do you? Two things will happen after you call. You will double up and have the same amount of chips as the other guy or get sent to the rail and the next game. Either way it's that much of a bigger for $3.
