| | | | Pushing with KK 3 handed,especially with those blinds and stacks is 100% correct!

| | | | I'd definately be all-in there with KK.
I think it's also very likely that Cowboy just misread the post and assumed you had KQ not KK.

| | | | You nailed it 7, I thought he had KQoff. My appologies.
In that case, yes that was the right play. Either take the pot there or make him risk it all because its fair to assume you are ahead (and by a lot). Most flops will hurt you by either bringing an ace or missing your opponents hand making him want to fold.

| | | | Normally I want to raise enough where they still think they can call, so that I have a shot to get paid off. But that would be roughly the same amount as being all in, so your play is fine.
If the chip stacks were deeper, a pot sized raise is better then an all in. If a pot sized bet is going to be 75% of your chips, it's better to go ahead and push it all in.

| | | | ok ty, what would u do with KQo then lol
or any A or K for that matter
normally 1st in i would do a standard raise with any A or K, QJ, or any pair

| | | | No, no, no!!
If you are going to raise with any A, K, QJ, or pair, then you MUST have position - not be the first one in the pot! And depending on your cards, you just may have to be the first one in as well! Take K3o for instance. UTG, I fold that quicker than I can say...umm..fold. The ONLY way I'm playing that is if I'm on the button, have a solid read of the blinds, and everyone has folded around, in which case I'll raise. Same goes with QJ and Axo (Axs I may limp with in position, depending on the circumstances).

even with 3 people left including yourself? here i suppose button is best as always & SB should really tighten up.

| | | | With 3 people left it's less about what cards you hold and more about your ability to out-play your opponents. At this point, you should be playing them, not the cards.
