Default Shootout? Hardly...

THF Player of the Year
Start of a double shootout.

I must admit I was wary of Ollio911er's minimum raise preflop. He raising big with Ax so far. I possibly could of raised there. I had good odds and just limped. For some reason, his bet gave me a wiff of a monster (AA?) Strange player he was (shortly after he limps UTG with J5s, then calls a preflop raise of 6xBB - hits trip 5's on the flop, goes allin, hits quads by the river and takes out zeenuts - who went nuts in the chatbox lol)

I think I can see where I could of played this differently but what do you think my play?

Iwouldve reraised the turn he checked the flop no way if he had AAs he check at that point...i would have him on a pair like 88 or 99 not even that if hes just a maniac which seemed to be the case....anyways a reraise would have scared him off seems to me he would stay in the pot as long as it is cheap enough to call so a big raise wouldve been the right move to me...one

THF Player of the Year
Thanks Canete, I can clearly see where you are coming from. I'm not certain why I didnt. I infact used the slider choose my re-raise and then took it down again and called. Maybe it was the player ( who actually did well in this game and when I looked he was still in the game with 4 left) or maybe that prize $215 ticket was in my mind in this case. I was unhappy that I didnt do anything to get more chips here but afterwards wasnt to sure if it was a bad play or not. Looking back at the HH , it really does look like a played it too cautiously.

Cheers for the input.
