Again, remember this is a $4.40 SnG in the early stages...
With that, let's look at his play and critique:
Dealt 55 preflop, I wanna be at 50% at worst to win this hand, let's make it 220 to go, get rid of those Ax and Kx morons out there. What's this, reraised? Hmm, I guess BillyBoy has a good hand like AKs, possibly a higher pocket pair such as TT or JJ. Well, I'll call his reraise, and if and when I hit my set, he'll be screwed!
...7QA, rainbow...FUCK!! Well, he's checking it, guess he has JJ or TT...or even worse possibly, he has something like JTs or some other suited connector...yeh, that's what he has. Alright, I'll check it too though, my hand isn't too strong.
...7d...And he's betting? There's no way that card could have helped him with his preflop raise, he's gotta realize you need to make a believable bluff if one at all! I'm gonna call this one, I got him.
...Qs...Crap - counterfeited. Well, his bet is even smaller than the bet on the turn, and it seems he was bluffing that - but he's still playing the same thing as me, Qs and 7s, A kicker. I'll call it, may not have won chips, but at least I didn't lose any...
CRAP, $%#$%^(*&)$%%
err...nh
Alright, now I can understand his play the entire way through, with the exception of the call on the turn. In my opinion, the turn is a fold or raise position with a hand such as 55. You are in position to be counterfeited if you are ahead, and if you aren't, well...you're just going to lose that much more on the river bet. Raise if you think your ahead, otherwise fold.
billy, as for your play...I like it, although I think you could have extracted more with a bigger river bet. Overall though, well played.
