Very tight fold, but I would sure put him on two small diamonds.. he probably went all in so he knocks out Ad and other bigger diamonds. I know it`s difficult, but fold was the only way.

im not sure about tough fold rw....i wouldn't even say a tough call...because ok...of course you have no over cards on the board so thats one good thing.... you are on a draw for the flush those are your pros ...your cons are the call which will cost you pretty much your whole stack and you are probably goin to face a made flush...not necassarily the nut flush but a made flush meaning you have about a 15% chance to hit the flush....so its pretty bad...the fold is almost the only option you have..one

yes i agree, i was def up against a made hand. i also had the 2nd nut flush, but with another gy in, i was sure someone had a made ahnd, and then the other guy had the Ad. i think it was a tough fold, because i had a nice ahnd with a nice draw, but i feel i made the right play. set myself up for a run into the money, which is what i concentrate on when im on the bubble. and once i hit the money, i look for a way to win it. in this case, i was close, and was SS, so once i hti the money i wanted to Double up and have a chance, but of course, a bad beat took me out.im sure everyone is sick of my bad beat talk, so im done now

much depends on your reads mate. single suited flops are tough ones. Personally it depends on the tourney. Sometimes people get so excited they have a hand and bet big without thinking about maximisation.

Bearing in mind this guy has loads of chips how has he been playing? He has easy odds in a hand of this size to "represent" a hand. There is 3k in the pot and he has plenty of chips to afford a knock if he goes out. If he has been pushing people arround then I would make a stand. The only hand you do not want him to have is ax diams. So long as he doesnt have that you have a decent chance of hitting a flush on those rare occasions when he has flopped a straight or a flush.

The bet to me is something in a 10$ buy in etc I would often read as weak. A bet of arround 1.5-2k is something I would be a bit more scared of. But it depends on your reads of him. Also if you think you will have pleanty of other oppertunities later on then there is no harm in waiting for a better moment to risk your chips.

Even if all he has is Ad there is a decent chance he will beat you (any diam, any ace). If he had a kicker that was an 8,9,10 or j he would have additional outs as well. This seems a more likely holding than 2 small diams or a made flush but it is a hand that you would not be a huge favorite on if you called.

You need to raise more preflop, with 2 limpers in there already I'm raising around 5xBB here to knock them out.

i understand this, but i wanted 1 caller, i got two unfortunately, but i still wanted to play this hand. i wanted to have a chance to push into the FT, and i had a great hand. and i was ok with folding if an ace hit or if this situation turned up. and i did, but i really wanted to get to 12-14000 once we hit the money, so i could make a chance at some real money. plus, it was close to the money, so if they didnt have much of a hand, thy would have folded, they would have played tight as we were close to the money.

I hear ya. There is already 1600 in the pot by the time it gets to you so it's a decent amount to win. Your raise means the first limper is getting 3.5/1 and is calling with any holding really when you factor implied odds in. 2nd limper is getting 4.5/1 on his bet so he's correctly calling with any 2 cards here. You were always going to get 2 callers!

As played I probably fold but I wouldn't be suprised to see the bare Ace of diamonds here.
