This is the problem when you overbet the pot against a short stack. They figure you are bluffing (I don't know if this was what you were trying for but that's probably what he thought), figured he had a half-decent chance of doubling up, and so he called, thinking that there wouldn't be a second caller and he is up against 2 overs, a flush draw at worst. Can't really do much about it, just be thankful you ended up winning that small extra amount from donkey #2

If he catches a piece of the board hes going for it there,hes gambling.I think the only thing he would have folded to is an A on board if that.If he thinks every big bet is bluffing hell be broke often,which may explain his stack.

1st youneed to bet at least 4xBB so raise preflop to $1. On the flop I bet 2 thirds of the pot and see what action I get. The guy with 98o wasgoing tocall regardless as he was a short stack donkey.Who sits at a NL25 table with $2.50??

BTW, why were you sat with under $10 when the hand started?
