| | | | How Do You Play This I knew he was chasing a flush draw and thought if I went all-in on the flop he would call me. So I waited until the turn to do it with one card to come But that didn't matter to him either. Such is life playing in low limit games. Any suggestions on how to play it differently. I guess I could fold on the flop.

| | | | looks to me you just got unlucky, he was gonna call anything apparently, no matter when you pushed, unless it was on the river if the spade didnt hit. you did the right thing though, you cant just check it down and be scared that he'll hit, thats how we make money, when the chasers cahse and dont hit. my only advice is maybe not go all in on the turn, i know you want him to fold, but if he hits your out, make a raise and if it hits, fold it and try to make a nice comeback, at least youll still have a chance.

| | | | I wouldn't of called with K7s in mid position even to just a 2xraise in the first place, unless I was on the BB (I'm so tight nowadays)......but if this happened to me on the BB I would of put a bet in on the flop only because of the flush draw....however the end result would still be the same as I would have to push all-in on the turn.

| | | | you didnt play the hand poorly by any means, but you didnt play it perfect either. I know you wanted to keep as much money in the pot as possible so you called the bet on the flop to get the other guy to call also, and i assume you were hoping the original better would bet again on the turn so you could check raise.
with that said, one thing i always do i tournament poker when i flop a hand like a trips, is to take the pot down early. i believe that if you would have raised on the flop, not necesarily all in but to like 450, then your giving yourself a better chance to win with 3 ppl in the hand.
and now if he still wants to call then he knows hes beat and you are doing your part to play the hand as best you can and frankly he is making a bad call.
not to say his call on the turn wasnt bad but thats just poker. you basically just got unlucky.

| | | | I think the call he made was bad also.
I can't say you played the hand badly and you're looking for a big pot for your trips. It's risky all the way though. I might not of been in with K7 but that's not the point here.
Also, I can't say for sure but I think I might of re-raised on the flop. There are still 7 players in the hand at the time you call the 180 flop bet. You have no information on any of them apart from papa_ken, who has small raised and then bet. He's on something of a hand but you've got to think you are ahead. I just feel that the call on the flop is dangerous and is allowing all the draws in.
I don't know why rockindnc called your final bet but you can see why he stayed in the hand up to that point. He's getting odds or near odds for his flush. You make your allin bet and he has very poor odds.
I wonder bout his thinking there and what your bet means to him( You're on a weaker hand like 2 pair? You're on a flush draw also? .. you're on a bluff?) I can't defend his call but it's possible he thinks his aces are good also and he has 12 outs. If you're bluffing he has many more.
A re-raise on the flop possibly gives you a pot of 435 chips if I counted correctly. If you do get a call or a re-raise there you have more info to make a decision on how to move on and if you choose to go on- you've built your pot.

| | | | Thats usually the time of loose end chasing you will see go on in the lower buy in tournies such as 10$ and below and espcecially freerolls, theres nothing you can really do about it, i admit it is aggrivating to see your trips get busted by a chaser but just keep ur head high and hope to river someone later on to get even ..lol
