THF Player of the Year
If it's it any consolation Sonny I think I played his brother and his sister earlier. Close-knit.

By the way....how do you 'burn off steam?' lol

i think your still raising too much with jacks sonny. Im surprised you got two callers

I would have perhaps raised a little higher at the flop to try and buy the pot there and then but after he called and another queen dropped i would have been very reluctant to raise as much as 700. A lot of people will call a raise with AQ, KQ, QJ or even Q10. I know this particular guy was just calling hoping for a runner runner however a lot of the time youll be against someone who knows what theyre doing. If you raised pre flop and then raise again at the flop and they call, you need to consider the possiblity they might have a queen

Im sitting at $25 NL earlier today and dealt AA with 4 callers already in the pot ahead of me. When it gets to me I make it $1.75. Everyone folds except one person who goes all in for $12 and some change. I call. He turns up 3-4 off. As im laughing he makes two pair on the flop. Luckily, I resuck on the river when the board pairs. I wanted to ask him why as well????? What was it Phil Gordon said??-- Please don't tap the aquarium. So I just kept my mouth shut and hoped hed reload.

I guess his name said it all. You wouldn't have to deal with that kind of crap playing in a THF League game, but then again, in low limit games they care or know nothing about pot odds or EV. It sucks and not the smart move but not surprising in those type games. I know first hand ( BSQAUD too) that it happens all the time.
