Well we all asked him why he didn't bet and he didn't answer! I just don't think he understood how strong his hand was! It was only a £0.15/£0.25 afterall...

From "Tales out of Tulsa" by Bobby Baldwin I believe is where i heard this story-- goes something like this--

Bobby tells of a NL cash game in which he is dealt 2-5 suited and ends up heads up against one other player. Long story short, by the river Bobby has made the nut (5 high straight) and has his opponent facing a very large bet to call. His opponent agonizes for several minutes and remarks "I dont see how I can lay this down". He finally decides to call. When he turns his cards up, he too shows 2-5. The guy failed to realize he had the very best hand or reraise all in with it. If it can happen at that level of play, you can see how it can happen in an online game-

He may of just checked for information, see what the other player had - give him a better idea of what kind of player he was up against.

I dont think so either but just another possibly reason why he would check

I have to agree with Dscott...he was afraid of the quads...maybe it was the last of his bank and had been taking bad beats so he went over cautious thinking he was going to get check raised his last dime.

Now on Finks hand, that guy deserves a dunce hat or maybe they just had the hots for you lmao.
