Default Sit outs at Full Tilt Question

I was playing a tourney at Full Tilt today. A private freeroll. And I noticed there were no indications who was sitting out. I guess they don't show who is sitting out. Which I found odd since the ring games show sit outs.

But, that wasn't the question.

The question was this. Do sit outs get autofolded? It seems like they don't.

That means someone can win a hand by luck and not even have to be there to play it.

Not a good thing if you ask me.

At least at Jetset the Sitouts are autofolded if there is a bet against them.

It not as good as sit outs getting the boot after a certain number of rounds without playing.

But, It's a heck of a lot better than Sit outs playing hands and getting luck draws.

I lost a good chunk because a sitout called my Big Raise with 4 6 off and rivered a boat on me.

I would still have lost a coin flip to another player that had AK to my pair.

But, to lose to that 4 6 off with no one even playing really steamed me.

BTW, I finished ahead of both of them in the tourney. Neither made the money.

But, I am still steamed over it.

I agree, have NEVER heard of sit outs calling raises. Something doesn't sound right.

Perhaps you are right. It was just that my table appeared to have not one sit out. Which is unusual. Maybe I just got called by and idiot with 4 6 off. He was low stack. But, I can't imagine playing that hand if I had 1 chip. LOL

Will check things out on the next tourney.

Ok. I played another tourney and I figured out what was going on. I am right about the sitouts not being displayed in tourneys. They don't. You kinda have to figure that one on your own. Yesterday it was easy. Terrible that I was at three different tables the first hour and the most people actually playing was 3 of us. First table is was just me and one other guy. We could have both got lots of chips from the table and been about 6500 each. I had to settle for 4900 when I raised big with AA and he reraised all in and I called. Guy had AQ off and was out of the tourney. How sad he got greedy and wanted all my chips. Or maybe he was bored.

At any rate. You all were right sit outs don't call raises. Unless they are all in. Which is pretty silly still. All ins should be folded just that same. If they aint around to play. Why let them have one hand when they are on the resperator.
