Default Full Tilt Rakeback

I was talking to a friend a few days ago who played on Full Tilt, and he told me that he made a lot of money purely from rakeback. I've pretty much only played on PokerStars, which has no rakeback. I've never really looked into it, but tonight I wanted to check it out since I have a little bit of money on my Full Tilt account. From what I see, you have to register through a third party. The two sites I've looked at explicitly say that you must have new accounts to gain access to rakeback. I was just wondering if anyone here uses the Full Tilt rakeback or knows more about it. If I could get rakeback there, I would probably play there even more. But I already have an account, so I don't know if I'd be eligible.

You can make a new account on a family member's name and use new email, new deposit method, etc. to get rakeback. This method is a bit shady though. Search the affiliates/rakeback forum on 2p2 to find some info about it. There is absolutely no way you can get rakeback on your current account even if you email FTP support and beg them.

Pokerstars has the FPP program, which is a form of rakeback. It's actually better than FTP's rakeback once you become supernova, though that's far off for most of us.

Well FTP has a form of FPP like PokerStars. I haven't really looked into it, but I know that they have a reward program with merchandise.

Anyways, I don't really feel like creating a new account, but do you know if I would get rakeback if I did create a new account and just transferred some money from my current bankroll to the new account?

Not sure. FTP support might get suspicious. Ask on 2p2.

Just Google "Full Tilt rakeback" and the first website links will tell you how to register. I would assume that whatever site you register through will get some sort of affiliate profit for 'recruiting' you, so if you want to help out any site in particular, try to do it through there.

I'm not sure if THF has that affiliation or not.

THF Player of the Year
This forum exists because we download the pokersoftware through the links of THF. Fonz gives some of it back to the players and members of this forum by making the forum better and adding prizes to leagues. I understand money is money but out of respect for fonz I don't think you should discuss rakeback on the forums.

Kaart, I understand. But this forum is about poker. If a member is looking for advice, they shall get it. We all want everyone to sign through fonz, but sometimes they dont. All we can do is tell them that it helps the site and let them do what they will.

to make alot with rakeback, you have to play higher stakes and play alot, so you risk losing alot too, so you gotta play solid. Alot of the times rakeback is more distracting than rewarding.
