Default Bad Beat

Today i lost with tripe kings. I had called a $5 dollar raise with KK and the flop came 4k2. I checked my tripes and the dude went all in for $16. I called and he had A5. He hit his inside straight on the turn. Do you think this si the right move?

that is definatly a good move u have to call with trip kings and the nuts after the flop he just out drew u. maybe consider raising all in after the flop because then if he calls its just a bad beat and u have to expect that sometimes thats what gambling is.

thats not a bad beat...just how it cam you shoulda seen someone had the ace and a probable undercard. A lot of times people have the ace when they raise up. I would have waited a card. sucks, but not a bad beat

Well Jesse that have happend before and i can not consider it as a bad beat. Dunno what cards you had and what community cards was.

I would have raised the 5$ raise allin probably cause then he would be a noob calling it. Bad luck pinky.

I think you should have reraised him preflop and you should have bet the flop. I my mind checking trips on the flop is a mistake. But it wasn't a bad beat, just a bad opponent who got lucky.

I got that $20 bonus from Party Poker and decided to go sit and play the .50/1 tables with it. First hand I was delt AQs. I reraise pre flop to $3. One caller. Flop comes out 8 Q 3. He throws down a $4 bet and I reraise him to $12. He then puts me all in and turns over 77. He caught his 7 on the river. I was just glad it wasn't my money. I was sooo pissed. It happens to all of us.
