That was fun... 14th. My first table had 7 sitters, so the first hour was spent stealing blinds with an occasional confrontation with the other live player there,,, One time I appreciated FT's faster structure.

First off, congrats to all the winners. Looks like it was a great game ( I wouldn't know since I got knocked out early ) !!!

Agree. I find it amazing the number of newbies who are joining the site that are appalled/offended/hacked-off/(insert your own word here)/etc by the rules set up by this forum.

GET OVER IT.

Everything in this world has rules--mostly to protect the innocent, make the playing field level, to protect people's investments, or to prevent people from sponging off others.

GET OVER IT.

The purpose of this forum (my understanding at least) is to promote this fun game, help people learn, and create a positive community. One of the wonderful fringe benefits is things like freerolls, money added tourneys, giveaways, etc. If you joined just for the fringe benefits, fine...but you have to follow the rules like the rest of us. Hopefully, you'll learn what a GREAT COMMUNITY this is, and how much you can learn (not to mention have fun with some great people).

If you don't like to follow rules/think they make your life sponging off people too inconvenient/etc., then please pardon my French when I say..........SCREW YOU. Those of us contributing (and benefitting from others' contributions) DON"T NEED YOU.

GET OVER IT.

Mistakes happen. If you find one, report it so Fonz and the leaders can try and get it corrected. I have found them all to be very helpful, not to mention open to ideas. If you chose not to bring up a situation, sorry, you should have. If you didn't know about the situation because you've only been on the site once in the last 2 months, well.............why should I feel sorry for you????

POINT FOR NEWBIES TO CONSIDER:

This is an open forum. Responses are welcome. Suggestions, ideas, information, and even criticism is welcome (and good for the community).

HOWEVER......may I make the suggestion that to criticize the site, slam someone's post, or belittle long-time members in one of your 1st 3-4 posts is not the best way to make a good first impression??????

To all the newbies this does NOT apply to, my apologies for this rant. I'm not venting at you. (And Rocketman, I'm not specifically ranting at you....your post just was the catalyst that set me off--sorry). For those that the shoe fits..........become a productive member of this site and enjoy the benefits. If you don't like the forum's rules, get out (and GET OVER IT).

Fonz.....Thanks as well for the Full-Tilt freeroll. Love what you are doing on this site!

TZB

Thanks to everybody... good game..
A couple donkey moves for me.. A bluff somebody called... when good for me. Played a tight game. Just got lucky at the right time. It's funny once on the bubble always on the bubble. I mean 2 more out more money, then 2 more and more money. It was like being on the bubble. lol

I thought I did, My tight and somebody else's tight might be different.
It might seem I was aggressive at first but I was catching a lot of good hands but not a lot of good flops. At first I played a lot of hands and somebody did ask if I was in every hand. It was a good game.
