Thumbs down whats the deal

I played in the freeroll on wensdday at 6:00 pm seven card stud. Im not very good at stud.
I was wondering whats with all the name calling? there were members calling other members MORONS telling poeple to f-off and other things. I guess I dont see the piont to all this. This is supposed to be a fun game. I dont like getting drawn out or loosing hands, but it happens everyone plays poker differently, but I dont see any reason to start calling poeple names.

I think the name calling stems from people getting beat by others who play and call every hand and then the suck-out artist goes and says something like "thanks for the donations".

I know it's not right to call people names, but it goes both ways.

100% agreed there. These guys think they are the best when they hit a 1 outer on the river/ Saying they knew they were beat but felt it coming or other BS like that. Like they deserve to win... It makes me sick.

Yeah I noticed that also playing in these freerolls... bunch of people who got out draw'd like me with my 7/6os vs A/J but he only had 200 more and 1200 in pot and i was bb... and I hit fullhouse he is like bitching at me, but I dont have any chat so I could care less just makes the game more stressful.

Yes you guys are right, I found out first hand myself last night on the tables. There were definitely trash talkers on the tables and some sore losers. I remember all their names and was looking for their posts on the site but couldnt find any. These people need to be kicked out for the well-being of the tourneys and the site. Im prepared to give the names to you Fonz if you so require.

its disgraceful, whatever happened to poker etiquate at the tables, if they were as abusive in a live tournament they would either have been thrown out on the spot or made a prime target by everyone at the table. to be honest i dont know what they play for if all they do is hand out bad beats and give abuse to the people who are bothering to play the game properly

The players that trash-talk are great players to have at the tables!!!! Start to argue with them and they will call off any bet you make or even raise you with nothing. Make sure they steam and take advantage of that!! Whenever you have a good hand, make sure you start to argue with the guy if he's in the pot so that he will call you off.
