JetSet Freeroll Week Discussion

I just noticed we dont have a thread to share our stories throughout the week on the freerolls on Jetset so i thought i would start one. Share your bad beats, sucesses. complaints, whatever.

I guess ill tell my story of tonights $25 freeroll.

I kinda just coasted through the whole tournament, no huge hands but quickly found myself chip leader at the final table. I was really confident (turned out to be too confident) and thought I had a really good chance of winning. However, Icouldnt get anything going at the final table and finished 3rd. Still, a nice 2.50 cash for someone desperate to get into online poker. So I immediately took my 2.50 to a .05/.10 micro NL game and right now at 10:20 iam up to 6.80.

Cant wait to play more freerolls later in the week, although i dont think ill be able to play either tomorrow.

EDIT: Just stopped playing and finished up $11

Pulled off 6th or 7th for $1.37 and stashed that away in my Jetset account to use later on when my bankroll is big enough. Chip leader in 2nd tourney called my large bet with an 89 suited and busted me out something like 33rd or 32nd. So that makes me 1 for 2 for the week in the money.

6 more days to go. I hope to see lots more final tables this week.

Monday- First tourney didnt go too well, finished 30 something-no money. Some boho called 200 of his 1000 preflop with 7 9 offsuit and i had AK, flop was 99K and it went check check, check check, he went all in on river...what the hell. I took a while and called, but he flipped 79 or 69, cant remember which one. Second one i couldnt find the time to play in. Im going to play in the Omaha freeroll at 2 today, but i think im going to the nationals game so i dont think i can play at 7. Hope to see all you at the tables

First tourney - I forgot how I lost it, but I was at 600 chips within the first 10 minutes, lol. I rode the shortstack for a while, winning hands here and there and eventually found myself in 2nd place with 10 people left. Final table came, didnt get good hands, one thing led to another, and I finished 5th place and won $2.

Second Tourney - This was even more of a blurr. I think i got KK early and doubled up on a pre-flop all-in call .. about 20 minutes into the tourney i was in good position, and all of a sudden, I guess I just passed out at the computer lol. Later that night, around 1 am, I went on and found that I got to 10th place winning 60 cents. lol oops...

Hopefully i have good luck today in the omaha tourney .. gl all!

The first day i didnt really have time for either of the events, but i played in both of the omaha events today and got third in both, so that should put me in good shape for this leaderboard, well see when its published.

So far- Won the first tournament i played for this site... woohoo... won 6.25.... went to the 5/10 tables had AA went all in... lost to 10/9off... then i won 15th last night, had 60cents went all in with AJ, lost to 2/4 off..... tell me there isnt something wrong here...
