My vote went to a pro. Why? Fairy tales hardly ever happen. We just had two in a row, ergo.......

i disagree.. poker is about odds, the odds of a pro winning this year are very slim.. does this mean it will not happen? no. does this its likely to happen? no. i think sadly that the days of a professional winning every event at the series are over, records of the last 2 years show this to be likely.. this year so far is proving to be no different, with few bracelets being won by professionals so far. the main event will have over 6000 no namers in it... i think that while the pro's have the skill the noobs have the luck because most of them wont hesitate to go all in with a gutshot draw, this has to pay off for some of them against an unlucky pro with his set of jacks or pair of aces

I would like to see a season pro win this tournamnet, but Im in agreement with most others that there are to many internet players to go through. I think the internet players have made a big change in the poker world. I have a feeling it may be a while before we see people winning thesse thing more than once.

i think it will be an eternity more like! its my guess that the turnouts for the WSOP main event will continue to grow every year until there are too many players in it then people will start to lose interest as the odds of winning will eventually be like winning the lottery 2 weeks in a row
