Thumbs up After 17 attempts...

FINALLY... I qualified for the Around the World Freeroll with a $500 prize pool. I have a ton of Go! Points and every week I try to get into by a tourney and everytime I'm like 3 places off, 2 places off, 1 place off, 1 place off, etc, etc. I mean I could just buy-in with the 500 which I was gonna do but the tournament was eating at me and I had to qualify! After I won a crucial all-in midway through the tournament and quadupled up, I never looked back and kept the chiplead until the 9 qualifers qualified. I had to post this because I know I'm a good player and like I said before this was eating at me... my poker pride and it feels a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I don't even care if I don't win anything in the ATW, I'm just glad I know i'm capable to win a ATW satelite! Dammit!

Yeah!!!

Very nice, remember though, this tournament is still a freeroll with loose players. You want to learn how the players play, strengths, weaknesses, betting habits, and style. Take an early chip lead if possible, but be sure there is no doubt that you have the best hand. No sense letting a fish draw out on you.

Good luck and place in the money, hopefully first.

Actually Bluffin those point tourneys can play a lot less loose than the pure freerolls do. I have only ventured to try at one of them. I lost but found the play to be much more realistic than the pure freerolls at Jetset. Mind you take this with a grain of salt. Were are still talking a tourney that doesn't cost money.

Still it was *******ing to actually be able to bet a decent hand and watch the table fold like dominoes.

Blackstone,

How are you getting some many points. I still play free money tables and it get's tiring playing 4 at a time just to get 4 points in maybe an hours time.

I really don't do the tourney freerolls as much. I found them even more aggrivating than the money freerolls.
