Sounds just a tad impractical. I was watching the Heads Up World Championship on the box a while back, and some of those guys were lasting well over 100 hands. It only takes one table per round to hold things up. So given that about half the entrants in one of our regular freerolls can't find the time to play a few hours and don't play, who exactly is going to have the time to spare for several rounds times the time for 100+ hands?
If people were prepared to commit to a round or two a day (and actually mean it) then I guess you could spread it over several days. But I wouldn't be optimistic about even that given the high numbers of don't shows in our regular tourneys.
10 out of 10 for thinking of it in the first place though. |
