Thumbs down I Love Freerolls (But)

I love freerolls because I don't always have a lot of money to play with. But I did have a bad experience on ZERORISK web site. We had a freeroll through THF a few weeks ago and I played the site after that. They only have prizes and offer a large variety. I won the BODOG 25.00 credit twice but I only rec'd a 40.00 credit when it should of been 50.00. I also won another tournament for a shirt and had to e-mail them to acknowledge me. I got a lame response that BODOG would only accept 20.00 deposits (lame). I enjoy playing in any tournament because I love to play. But when you win 25.00 you should get 25 not 20 or you call the prize 20.00.

THF Player of the Year
You are absolutely correct bigdave. If you won $25 you should get $25. It's not right that you should waste your time on trying to get what is rightfully yours. Unfortunately I don't have a solution but maybe someone else has.

Keep us informed if you want.

bigdave did ask then why are they collecting the 20% income tax on an amount that low. That is what I would ask.

I get an account statement e mailed to me and has everything listed. They advertize $25 they should pay $25 or give reason for with holding 20%.

They got the be straight forward and by your post they are not.

diametrically opposed to your post justforfunno.
the very best value to be had is obviously the freeroll.

even greater value is realised when a large proportion of the field sits out or chooses not to play optimally . do the opposite and you're guaranteed +EV.

Amen.. I have tons of tickets on Stars because at the very least, 1/4 of the players are sitting out, and 2/4 are just a random assortment of thrillseekers, underage kids without credit cards, and whoever else is out there that doesn't care to play well

I never make the money in round 2, though.

god knows freerolls are how I got a bankroll in empire and partypoker, too bad they're dead

I'm working on Full Tilt today

Default freerolls

All in all I think free rolls are pretty good. I play at cake and p4e and never had to deposit cash and play in real money games
