The term donkey is used way too much IMO. Usually its the top stacks that are getting called this and other names. Never have responded to another player after a bad beat and probably never will. If someone makes a bad play and wins, oh well. In the long run that is exactly what you want. Why make someone whos not very good think about there game? I prefer them to make the same call the next twenty times and hope to win 17-19 times. If AA never lost would poker even be fun/challenging etc? Sometimes i believe the true " donkey" is the one who loses with AA and fails to realize the hand is plenty vulnerable after the flop. |
