Thumbs up Frequent Player Points

I couldn't find anything on this subject so I thought I would start a thread. I can only speak about PokerStars, but I know other sites have similar offers. When playing with real money PokerStars gives you FPP (frequent player points). They have various freerolls that you can play with those points (or buy things in their store). There is a way to turn them into money! I like doing it two ways. The 10 FPP/$500 added freeroll. Problem with that one is you have to get up there aways to have it pay more than pennys (though you can take .25 and play .01/.02 ring game and build it up). Another one I like to do is the 70 FPP for a seat to the weekly $100,000. This is a 9 player table and is a winner take all. The winner is automatically registerd in the $100,000 event. You are allowed to unregister and take $11 in tourament credit. You can then apply that to any tourney you wish OR exchange it for cash money through a PS affiliate. It will pay you 96% of your tourament dollars. Then you can cash it out or play ring games if you'd like.

Maybe some of you have even more profitable ways of making your FPP work for you?

This is a great idea, and is what i do now, now that i am starting to try and get back into it by rebuilding from nothing. But i have to ask, what is a PS affiliate, and how do you get in touch with one?

I had been using mine in the 70 pt game aa well. I like the fact you can cash out of the big game, and use that $11. in any tournament.

THF Player of the Year
The 1-table SnG's with a 70 FPP buy in are hard because only first place pays. There are MTT satellites which also costs 70 FPP but the first 60-100 get a ticket worth $11 tournament dollars (don'r forget to unregister). Takes much longer to finish but seems easier to qualify to me.

If someone wins a ticket I will buy it for $11 cash. No need to lose 4% on those buy/sell sites.

You can get buy ins to events cheaper if they are for sale. Check the website I listed in above post. It gives you all the info.

Default hmm

i like the fpp there aswell and i have accumilated quite a bit of them
and have used alot for the 1oo k tourney
it is only 70 fpp at a sit n go under satelittes and only a ten seat table.
it is a good deal just to use you rpoints to ge tinto a 100 k tourney
i like the idea of winning one of those tourneys i havnt yet but i have played in the nillion three times and the 200 k and the 150 k several times and have moneyed twice.
so maybe one of these days i will take down the million one.
