There are much better places to hae it than there. That site may be good for most types of games, but it's not for freerolls.
um..can we stop with the pokerstars hate, pls? lol

it is the best site around, especially for tournaments, including freerolls.

e.g., we havent had any problems with the league tourneys at all, quite contrary.

u wont see me going around saying all these other crappy sites u ppl play on s.uck compared to pokerstars (and they do, btw lol)

to each their own.

but to rag on the best out of no good reason, its just plain silly.

First off, I'm entitled to opinion.

And yes there HAS been a few problems with the FF League games, so maybe you shouldn't post things like that if you don't have your facts straight.

And EVERY white level tourney we've had there has had over half of the players sitting out. That is very big problem. The same thing will happen "if" we're able to win a freeroll from this tourney and choose to play it at PokerStars.

I believe that PokerStars is a great site for playing ring games and buy-in tourneys, but as far as freerolls go, there are way to many people who don't play and that ruins the game. PERIOD.

So, if you consider telling the facts they way they are ragging, then maybe you don't know the real definition of the word.

I will make sure Fonz sees your request when he gets back from his trip.

I know he's doesn't like to do group emails though, so you'll probably just need to make yourself a reminder.

So, if you consider telling the facts they way they are ragging, then maybe you don't know the real definition of the word.
1) where there are freerolls (i.e., anything given out for FREE), there will be leeches. especially so on the number 1 tourney site, where there are up to 60000 players at a time. if that gets to you so much, then maybe you should consider not participating yourself and/or doing leadership duties on pokerstars. or at all, if your nerves are so fragile.

2) leeching/spamming/stealing can be reduced to a min by giving out the pw as close as 15mins prior to gametime.

3) what is such a big deal about the number of sitouts in a given tourney/freeroll?? i never understood that gripe! must be weak players afraid of tough action or something...if anything, it makes for a great 'fake' shorthanded tourney game practice! (at least in the beginning, of course)

4) it is not fair to propagate for any funds won on the forum chanllenge not to be used on pokerstars tourneys. especially for someone such as yourself, in a leadership/privileged position. if anything, that issue should be put to a forum-wide vote. im sure there are more ppl like me who are only playing on the forum challenge tourney exactly to have more funds for pokerstars freerolls! if you big poohbahs here decide otherwise ahead of time, kindly let me/us all know, so i dont waste my time the evening of dec 2.

1) So as a leader, I can't have an opinion? Or I can't have one that defers from your opinion?

2) We do hold out on giving the PW 10-15 mins before and the problems still happen.

3) It has nothing to with being afraid. It does nothing accept perpetuate the horrible play because the of the 4 or 5 people that actually show up to play. You always get the people who non-stop raise w/ crap just to steal the blinds. The more sit-out, the more people trying to steal which equals more suck-outs.

Here's a concept for you. If you sign up for a tourney, SHOW UP AND PLAY. I guess that's hard for some people to figure out.

4) And if someone can suggest that a freeroll be played there then there's no reason that someone can't object to that.

No one will decide where a freeroll will be played anytime soon because "The 5th Poker Forum Challenge" hasn't even been played yet.

If your only playing in this tourney because you think we'll have a freeroll at PokerStars " IF " we win one, then that's pretty funny. How can we plan a freeroll that we haven't even won yet?

By the way, I'm not "propagating" my leadership in anyway. I'm only giving my opinions here. That's one of the thing that this forum is here for.
