im speaking with cd poker just now about setting up some games.

They have been very pro active above getting some games sorted for us

so what would you guys like. Would you like a huge tournament with a large pot ($2000 ish) added or would you like a weekly game there with $100 added every week for the next few months. Obviously we'd need to get a lot of sign ups for a huge tournament to make it worthwhile but i think a prize like that would get people interested

also - what times would suit everyone?

I agree that the bigger pot will get more people interested. I'd prefer the bigger pot game - (if we would we keep the weekly games at Stars or are you planning on switching these to cd?)
As far as times - I'm flexable - however, I'd rather play at night (U.S time) than day But it's fine with whatever the outcome.

Id prefer the big one....and might bring the bigger players the sites been looking for.But the small ones might bring in quantity and quality at the same time.
Even 4 500s might be good to bring the level of THF intrest back to peak form.
Dont know what the site is but Ill give it a whirl for THf games
As far as time Im suitable to any til work calls.

How about a Heads-Up MTT...that would bring in some quality players and we would know that xtra would win it, so it would keep the prize for a loyal THF member.

Would these tourneys be freerolls or buy-in tourneys? I don't have any money on CD Poker and I wasnt really planning on putting any on, but of course I want to participate in all THF tourneys that I can.

I think multiple tourneys would be better. It spans the attraction over a period of time reaching out to far more players and also divides the prize money up much better between players.

I know a lot of people would love to hit the jackpot on one big tourney, but be realistic, only one person can do that. And there will be a lot of people in that tourney. It would be easier to take a stab at multiple smaller tourneys than one desperation stab at a huge tourney.

If that defects anyone to my side...

Im tending to agree with cowboy though i wasnt sure of the best time to have the game.

I dont think that I would bother pulling out my money on PS for the same game on CD. However, for a slighty larger one I might. JMO.
