cake has been hit or miss since they started but with several upgrades since then they have worked out most of the bugs. alot and i mean alot of loose players there who love to raise with ace/junk and keep raising after the flop even if they dont hit anything. stick to your hands you can make out pretty decently.

I agree on that nutzyflopper. But you for got to say that cake's support is honest about their short falls and keep you updated. I find it a go site to play for allot more reasons also.

I have been frozen/timed out twice in a short period of time holding pocket pairs (AA one of the times) during cash games. I wasn't happy. Players at the low stake penny games play like its a freeroll. If you can deal with that I say go for it.

oh yeah...cashing out is a pain in the ass....you have to use epassporte or some other ewallet unless you cash out $500 or more...and when i cashed to epassporte, they took 48 hours to credit my epass..... i think they do this in hopes you will cancel the cash out

Unless you need the cash right away (in which case, I think you'd need $500 or more), is 48 hours a real big problem?

Just be thankful you can use epassporte (my bank won't allow it)

I will probably sound like a broken record but I think you cant go wrong playing at Cake. This is the only poker site that ive withdrawn money from (without ever depositing). I got my $300 in 2 days. To me thats impressive. Another thing that I look for is a quick response from any inquiry. They responded to all of my questions quickly. Hope my experience helps you out.

Cake has been good to me as well! And everyone is right there are alot of donks there, but hey they are everywhere. Deposited $45 back in july of 2007, and easily cashed out over $300! Not much, but when you consider its mostly low dollar tourneys and the every now and again micro cash tables, I say not bad!

I joined cake when they were new and they have the most liberal rake rules, I have never deposited there yet in no time I was making withdrawls. Now they do have some software issues but they do listen are always trying to upgrade them. I also like that they pay bounties immediate when in a bounty tournament.
