Why don't you explain it to us? Everyone here lost interest during season 2 because the cards were nearly impossible to get at the stakes most of us play. Unless you have instituted a system where lower limit players have any way of competing then it's nearly worthless for 95% or your player base.

I'm still trying to figure this one out...

When every Gold Card tourny that pops up is for "ANY SERIES 6 of diamonds" and "ANY SERIES 5 of clubs".

Since he hasn't answered you yet, I will. No, the new system is just as flawed as the old one. Just for the hell of it this evening I went and check out a 6-max $25/$50 NL table. A GC came out every 3-4 hands. I played a 10 seat .50/$1 NL table and saw a GC about every 50-60 hands. The is no chance in hell of competing for the Gold Cup OR the most unique/full set competitions.

You are correct as always Fink. Those are the only ones I see as well. I still have all my Series I GC's waiting for tourneys were you can only enter with those. I've been told by the Cake Managers many time that they were going to reward those that held on to them......Still waiting.

Don't have much to say about this because that's all we've got so far.

I just read that comment up above me, and wow, you had to play in the $25/$50 room just to see a gold card come out about every couple minutes. I rarely play cash games, but when I do, I play the low limits and of course you never see anyone win a gold card there. I think they should make it where you can get a gold card in sit n goes. Maybe have it where the winner might randomly get a card. I dunno *shrugs* . It just sucks for us low limit players because we know we definitely won't be seeing these gold cards.

And it's really too bad because when they first started out it was so much fun. Completely pointless when 1% of their player base collects 95% of the gold cards.

Wow, once you put it that way, that's just ridiculous! I guess if we're not playing big stakes we are just nobodies to the site. It would be nice if they changed it so more lower stakes players got a chance to get these cards.

Yes it would, but unfortunately we've typed our fingers to the bone trying to get them to understand why their system sucks. They don't see it our way.

It was fun. Now if I want to see a GC I just go watch the limits that I don't play.

I was expecting someone to go check it out by this point...but I guess I'll just tell you all.

there's 5 million gold cards. They're coming out at Series 1 rate again and will stay that way for most if not all of Series 3.

We had a $10,000 tournament for a single 2 of clubs, which you could easily get now.

It's fun again. =)

Hmmm, I dunnnnnnoo about these cards. I played for 30 minutes straight on three different low limit tables and didn't even see a card come out to anyone.
